The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan reminds employers that they are required to register employment contracts and all amendments thereto in accordance with the established procedure.
The key change is the introduction of administrative liability for violations of the procedure for entering information into the USREC.
From March 2026, amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan will come into force.
Fines will be imposed for:
absence of information about an employment contract in the USREC
late registration of a contract
incomplete data entry
provision of inaccurate or false information
As a result, oversight of labor relations recordkeeping is moving to a new level.
According to the amendments, the amount of fines will depend on the employer category:
officials — 30 MCI (Monthly Calculation Index)
small business entities and non-profit organizations — 60 MCI
medium-sized business entities — 80 MCI
large business entities — 150 MCI
