Techconnect in Astana

On November 12, 2015, in Astana, with the support of the RK MIR, NATR, and the business accelerator Happy Farm, Techconnect took place.

The goal of the event was to unite leaders of the IT community from the USA, Central and Eastern Europe, and to create the largest center for technological innovations in Kazakhstan. More than 20 international speakers and 100 of the best European startups participated in Techconnect, along with over 1500 guests, including investors, business angels, and venture funds.
Leading industry experts with extensive experience shared their knowledge and insights on the future of the IT industry.

Participants from large businesses and government structures took part in round tables, closed discussions, and other meetings. A list of speakers.

In the key part of the event, the "Startup Battle", which featured 10 projects, the Wipon project won (a platform that helps avoid counterfeits and consume goods safely). The $25,000 prize will be used by the participants to develop the platform, particularly to protect goods from counterfeiting during online purchases, and to develop a system for tracking the movement of original products from the manufacturer to the consumer, etc.

Newinttech participated as part of the Kazakhstan Association of IT Companies with the software product Documentolog.
