How We Rest on New Year and Christmas in 2025 in Kazakhstan?

In January 2025: we will have 4 days off for New Year – January 1, 2, 3, and 4, followed by two working days – January 5 and 6. Christmas – January 7, 2025, falls on a Tuesday, which will be another day off.  

How We Rest in March and on Nauryz?

In March 2025, we will again have several transfers. Since March 8 falls on a Saturday, Kazakhstanis will receive an additional day off on March 10. In total, we will have 3 days off due to the celebration of International Women's Day. 

Then Nauryz from March 21 to 23 falls on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so there will be two additional days off on March 24 and 25, meaning we will have 5 consecutive days off for Nauryz. Indeed, it’s a great opportunity to relax and recharge.

How We Rest in May 2025?

May 2025 is also rich in holidays. This year, the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan - May 1, falls on a Thursday, Defender of the Fatherland Day - May 7, on a Wednesday.  Victory Day - May 9, also falls on a weekday, on a Friday. 

This results in weekends during the week for one day. We recommend keeping an eye on this information, as there may be transfers of weekends and working days for the convenience of residents. 

How We Rest in June 2025 for Kurban Ait?

In June 2025, Kurban Ait falls on June 6, Friday. Therefore, we will have 3 days off, counting from the weekends. 

How We Rest in July 2025 for Capital City Day?

In July 2025: we will again have 3 days off due to the coincidence of Capital City Day with a weekend. From Sunday, July 6, the transfer will be to July 7, Monday. 

How We Rest in August 2025 for Constitution Day?

In August - September 2025: August 30, Constitution Day falls on a Saturday, so there will be an additional day off on September 1, meaning 3 consecutive days off. 

How We Rest in October 2025 for Republic Day?

In October 2025: we will have 3 days off for Republic Day. From October 25 to 27, from Friday to Monday. 

How We Rest in December 2025 for Independence Day?

In December 2025: 1 day for Independence Day, which falls on a Tuesday. Therefore, we will have a day off on December 16 during the week. A great opportunity to catch your breath at the end of the year.
