New Solution for Homeowners Associations: Voting via eGov Mobile for the First Time in Kazakhstan

We have created a unique new solution for voting in Homeowners Associations that allows for online voting today.  

The new functionality is available absolutely free to all users: Homeowners Associations and property owners within the cloud service of electronic document management Documentolog Business/Free.

A unique advantage of Documentolog, compared to other similar solutions available on the market, is the ability for residents to vote without registration and downloading an app. Moreover, our company has implemented for the first time in Kazakhstan the ability to vote via QR code in Egov mobile without the need for an electronic digital signature (EDS). 

Previously, representatives of homeowners associations had to spend a lot of time and effort organizing resident gatherings, conducting in-person meetings, and voting on paper. This not only complicated the decision-making process but also did not guarantee the honesty and transparency of the voting. After all, it was practically impossible to determine whose signature it was – the apartment owner's, their relative's, or a neighbor's. Additionally, homeowners who purchased an apartment in one city but live or work in another region of the country could not participate in the voting.

The new solution for Homeowners Associations allows for online voting in just 3 clicks:

• connect the service,
• create ballots,
• and send the link to homeowners.

For voters, the voting process is also as simple as possible: there is no need to download an app, register, or have an EDS; voting can be done via QR code in the Egov mobile app.

In addition to the already implemented voting functionality, Homeowners Associations can also take advantage of other interesting features – for example, electronically exchange documents with partners, conclude contracts with suppliers and employees, send notifications to residents, or acts of completed work to owners of non-residential premises. The product's functionality will continue to expand.
