Kazakh Agro-Technical University named after S. Seifullin has transitioned to a paper-free format

Another major university in Kazakhstan - KazATU named after S. Seifullin has digitized its document and contract management using the Documentolog platform. The university is one of the leaders in education in Kazakhstan in the field of agricultural and technical sciences, ranking 2nd in the General ranking of universities in Kazakhstan in 2020. Together with the University of California, Davis (UCDavis, USA), it develops educational programs in the agricultural field.

The goal of transitioning to an electronic document management system (EDMS) is to automate document handling and enable official correspondence with government agencies of Kazakhstan in electronic form. 

Previously, the university used the system in pilot mode for six months, and after a positive experience, the system was put into commercial operation in October of this year.

To automate its processes, the university acquired the Documentolog Platform package (https://documentolog.kz/tariffs), which allows for complete automation of the enterprise's operations.

As a result of the project:

? The handling of incoming/outgoing correspondence, internal documents, requests from individuals, and more has been automated.

? The university has connected to the Doculite service for exchanging electronic documents in a legally significant format with partners and government agencies of Kazakhstan.

? About 300 university employees are working in the system.

Plans are in place to automate the process of concluding contracts with students, allowing students to sign contracts with the university for enrollment and obtaining educational programs.
