As part of the pilot for cross-border document flow, the first strict reporting documents were sent from Kazakhstan to Russia, signed with an electronic signature. These documents successfully passed verification and were confirmed for accuracy by the currency control institutions for cross-border transactions in both countries (UniCredit Bank and Jusan Bank). Thus, documents signed and sent electronically via the "Cross-Border Document Flow" service are valid just like paper documents.
⏱ The operation of sending, verifying, and receiving documents took no more than 5 minutes.
Any company can participate in the project for cross-border exchange of electronic legitimate documents with Russia. For detailed information, read the full press release.
