M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University Signs Contracts with Students Electronically

M. O. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University is a state multi-disciplinary higher education institution located in Shymkent, providing education in 76 technical and humanitarian specialties since 1943.

In April 2021, the university transitioned to the Documentolog electronic document management system. One of the key prerequisites for this transition was the need to conclude electronic contracts with students.

To implement the project, the Documentolog Platform package was chosen, which includes the automation of:

- general document flow (incoming/outgoing documents, internal documents, requests from individuals/legal entities);

- contractual activities;

- external document flow with counterparties;

- the Documentolog mobile application;

- and other functionalities.

In addition to the Documentolog Platform package, the university has automated its HR activities: processes for hiring and dismissing employees, granting leave, business trips, transfers to other departments, and surveys.

With Documentolog, the university has digitized not only its internal but also its external document flow. Now, the university administration can conclude contracts with students and other counterparties, and conduct legally significant exchanges of electronic documents with government agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
