The Law on Informatization Signed

The President of Kazakhstan has signed the law "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Informatization", aimed at implementing the Nation Plan — 100 Specific Steps for the implementation of five institutional reforms and aligning the legislation of the Republic with the law "On Informatization", reports the press service of Akorda.

This law provides for the introduction of the service model of informatization, the use of an architectural approach in automating government management functions, ensuring security in the use of ICT, as well as the use of open source software in the creation of "Open Government".
