?Apple faces a class-action lawsuit over loot boxes in games. "Apple collects a large percentage of in-game purchases known as loot boxes. Hundreds of games rely on this mechanism to bring developers and the company billions of dollars, primarily purchased by children," say the authors of the complaint;

?IBM refused to develop facial recognition technology - the company considers it a violation of human rights and freedoms; 

?Microsoft closed 129 vulnerabilities in the June Patch Tuesday for Windows. This update package became the largest in terms of the number of closed vulnerabilities in the history of Microsoft's Patch Tuesday releases. In March of this year, 115 vulnerabilities were fixed, and in April - 113;

?AI reduced the number of errors in vision checks by 74%. Researchers from Stanford University developed an online vision test based on artificial intelligence. This test, in their opinion, provides much more accurate results than the Snellen chart - the most common method for checking visual acuity used since the 19th century. According to the developers, the test can help patients with eye diseases monitor their vision at home;

?Sberbank buys a controlling stake in 2GIS. Sberbank and 2GIS signed binding documents for investments in development and acquisition of a controlling stake in the service. Sberbank will receive 72% of the shares. The deal amount will be 14.3 billion rubles;

?Security researchers discovered a small Indian company that was monitoring major figures around the world.  They claim that the group was conducting commercial espionage on behalf of individuals involved in high-profile public events, criminal cases, financial transactions, appearing in the news, and working in propaganda. Experts believe that the hackers were trying to find information that could help exert pressure on them.
